An Account Executive (Tally) manages daily accounting, records transactions, handles payables/receivables, reconciles accounts, and ensures Tally software compliance, involving duties like GST/TDS filing, financial reporting, audit support, and maintaining accurate books for business operations and tax compliance. They are key for financial accuracy, process efficiency, and ensuring smooth financial workflows, working closely with management and other departments. Key Responsibilities Tally Management: Daily bookkeeping, voucher entry, bank reconciliation (BRS), and maintaining general ledger in Tally ERP. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Processing invoices, managing vendor payments, client billing, and following up on receivables. Taxation: Preparing and filing monthly/quarterly GST and TDS returns, generating challans, and issuing TDS certificates. Financial Reporting: Generating financial statements, reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements, client ledgers, and resolving discrepancies. Audit Support: Assisting with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for efficiency and streamlining accounting processes. Essential Skills & Qualifications Software: Proficient in Tally ERP (TallyPrime/Tally.ERP 9) and MS Excel. Accounting Knowledge: Strong grasp of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and financial regulations. Personal Skills: Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with Tally certification often preferred.
