We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial operations for our handloom textiles business. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts, handling inventory-related financials, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management with financial reports to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day financial records including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments.
• Prepare and verify invoices for wholesale, retail, and e-commerce textile sales.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances related to the textile industry.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
• Track inventory costs, stock valuation, and wastage management specific to handloom textiles.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely submission of financial documents.
• Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights for business decision-making.
• Assist in pricing strategy by calculating product costing (yarn, weaving, dyeing, labor, etc.).
• Maintain accurate payroll records for weavers, staff, and other employees.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (M.Com/CA Inter preferred).
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in textiles/handloom or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of cost accounting and inventory management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
