We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial operations for our handloom textiles business. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts, handling inventory-related financials, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management with financial reports to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: Maintain day-to-day financial records including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments. Prepare and verify invoices for wholesale, retail, and e-commerce textile sales. Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances related to the textile industry. Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently. Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers. Track inventory costs, stock valuation, and wastage management specific to handloom textiles. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely submission of financial documents. Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights for business decision-making. Assist in pricing strategy by calculating product costing (yarn, weaving, dyeing, labor, etc.). Maintain accurate payroll records for weavers, staff, and other employees. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (M.Com/CA Inter preferred). 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in textiles/handloom or manufacturing. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or similar) and MS Excel. Good understanding of cost accounting and inventory management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
