Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Academic Counsellor to join our on-site team in Lucknow, specifically for the night shift to cater to our global clientele across different time zones (e.g., US, UK, Canada, Australia). This role is crucial for guiding prospective students and parents through our program offerings, ensuring a smooth enrollment process, and helping learners make informed academic decisions aligned with their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Counselling & Admissions: Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chat inquiries to counsel prospective students and parents effectively about Oratrics' programs.
• Lead Management & Conversion: Generate leads, qualify prospects, and manage the end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring a high conversion rate of inquiries into admissions.
• Relationship Building: Build trust and rapport with potential learners and their families, understanding their needs and recommending suitable courses to foster personal growth.
• Target Achievement: Meet and exceed weekly and monthly admission and sales targets.
• Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed student records and interaction logs within the CRM system, preparing periodic reports on outreach and recruitment activities.
• Coordination: Collaborate with academic and admin teams to ensure smooth student onboarding and program coordination.
• Night Shift Operations: Efficiently manage all counseling and administrative tasks during the designated night shift hours.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a Master's degree in Counselling, Education, or Marketing is a plus.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in academic counseling, sales, admissions, or customer service, preferably within the education sector (EdTech experience is a bonus).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is mandatory to communicate with a global audience; proficiency in Hindi is also beneficial.
• Interpersonal Skills: High levels of empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and guide students effectively.
• Sales & Negotiation: Proven ability to influence, negotiate, handle objections, and close sales while maintaining a student-centric approach.
• Technical Skills: Comfortable with CRM software, MS Office, and general computer skills.
• Work Ethic: A highly motivated, target-driven individual who can work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
