About the Role

A reputed college in Kasaragod is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Academic Coordinator to oversee academic operations and ensure effective coordination between faculty, students, and administration. This role requires vision, leadership, and proven expertise in managing academic functions within a higher education institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage day-to-day academic operations, including timetables, curriculum planning, examinations, and academic records.

• Support and guide faculty members in teaching processes, academic resources, and compliance with college policies.

• Ensure adherence to accreditation, regulatory, and quality standards for higher education. • Monitor student performance, prepare academic reports, and facilitate progress evaluations.

• Act as the primary contact for students on academic guidance, queries, and grievance handling.

• Collaborate with faculty and management to organize academic programs, seminars, and workshops.

• Lead faculty recruitment, onboarding, and professional development initiatives.

• Foster communication between administration, teaching staff, and students for smooth operations.

• Drive continuous improvement in teaching methods, curriculum, and student engagement. Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Education, Management, or a relevant discipline (mandatory).

• Minimum 10 years of experience in academic administration, teaching, or coordination at the college/university level.

• Strong knowledge of higher education systems, accreditation standards, and academic operations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in academic management systems and MS Office tools.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and deliver results under pressure.
