Job Responsibility– Academic Coordinator Job Title: Academic Coordinator Reporting To: Academic Head / Principal / Management Job SummaryThe Academic Coordinator ensures high academic standards across partner schools through curriculum planning, teacher training, and student performance monitoring. This role collaborates closely with principals, teachers, and management to deliver quality education, introduce innovative practices, and resolve academic challenges. Responsibilities also include supporting recruitment, teacher evaluation, exhibitions, competitions, and marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities1. Teacher Quality Assurance & TrainingMonitor and evaluate teacher performance through classroom observations and constructive feedback. Plan and conduct training programs, workshops, and orientation sessions. Mentor teachers to ensure consistent academic quality across schools. 2. Recruitment & Teacher EvaluationParticipate in the hiring process of teachers and academic staff. Conduct interviews, assessments, and demo lessons. Verify candidate background, teaching style, and suitability prior to selection. Ensure newly hired teachers receive proper induction and training. 3. Curriculum Planning & ImplementationDesign, review, and implement curriculum across schools. Share annual syllabus plans and monthly progress updates. Research and introduce new content, products, and academic methodologies. 4. School Visits & Academic SupervisionConduct regular school visits to observe classes and meet principals. Supervise teacher performance, student engagement, and academic environment. Provide on-site support and resolve academic or operational issues promptly. 5. Monitoring & ReportingReview Monthly Progress Reports (MPR) and evaluate academic outcomes. Track student performance, recommend remedial action, and submit reports to management. Maintain detailed documentation of teacher evaluation and academic quality. 6. Student Learning, Development & CertificationsMonitor student assessments, projects, and learning outcomes. Support teachers in student-centered learning techniques. Coordinate exhibitions, competitions, and certification processes to recognize student achievements. Share student evaluation reports with principals and suggest improvements. 7. Documentation & Media CollectionCollect academic documentation, photos, and videos from schools for records. Maintain proper records of teacher training, curriculum updates, and event reports. 8. School Engagement & Marketing SupportRepresent the organization during school visits, presentations, and demos of products. Engage in parent interactions, provide academic updates, and highlight curriculum strengths. Coordinate with the sales/operations team to build strong relationships with schools. 9. Coordination, Feedback & Issue ResolutionAct as a communication bridge between management, teachers, and schools. Collect and analyze feedback from schools, parents, and teachers for continuous improvement. Ensure timely solutions for academic concerns and support smooth execution of academic and extracurricular programs.
