Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Advisor, located in Bangalore Urban district. The Academic Advisor will assist students in making informed educational and career decisions by providing guidance on academic programs, course selections, and professional pathways. Key responsibilities include conducting student counseling sessions, advising on academic advancement, offering personalized career counseling, and collaborating with educators to create effective academic plans. Regular communication with students to address their goals and academic concerns is an essential aspect of this role.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students effectively in their academic and professional journeys.
• Strong Communication skills to interact with students, parents, and educational professionals effectively.
• Proficiency in Academic Advising and Education to assist students in making informed decisions about courses and careers.
• Passion for supporting student development and fostering academic success.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a dynamic educational environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field; a Master’s degree or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in academic advising or counseling roles is highly advantageous.
