As an ACA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the future of SSD technology by leading competitive analysis initiatives. This is your opportunity to work with a world-class team, driving Micron’s mission to deliver outstanding memory and storage solutions. Responsibilities: Identify trends in NAND algorithms, performance, power, and new technologies among competitors. Maintain strong technical relationships with internal teams such as component competitive analysis, NAND architecture teams, and product development teams. Collaborate with system architects to define policies that improve Micron’s SSDs, aiming for outstanding products. Write software to automate testing and extract information from drives under test. Generate new intellectual property and patents while maintaining a database of collected test information. Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 8+ years of engineering experience in design, product, test, support, system, or applications. Proficiency in SSD or HDD architecture, design, analysis, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows, VMware) and device drivers. Experience with storage protocols (SATA/ATA, SAS, NVMe) and NAND management. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Detailed knowledge of NAND flash, solid-state drives, and/or hard disk drives. Experience with high-speed digital scopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, and Data Acquisition systems. Proficiency in software development, preferably Python. Strong organizational and self-motivated abilities. Ability to travel internationally and work across multiple engineering fields.
