Role Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Ab Initio. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop and maintain data models to support business intelligence initiatives. Optimize Ab Initio graphs for performance improvements and scalability. Conduct data cleansing and transformation tasks as required. Develop shell scripts for automation of processes. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define project scope and objectives. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of best practices. Debug and troubleshoot data issues and find effective solutions. Provide support for user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-deployment validation. Document system processes and data flows to ensure knowledge transfer. Monitor and maintain existing ETL workflows to ensure efficiency. Assist in the migration of legacy systems to new Ab Initio frameworks. Stay updated on industry trends and practices related to data integration. Report on project status and timelines to stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Ab Initio. Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Proficient in SQL and database management systems. Experience in performance tuning and optimization techniques. Knowledge of shell scripting and automation tools. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with data governance and compliance regulations. Experience with widely-used data integration tools is a plus. Understanding of big data technologies and concepts is advantageous. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
