Responsibilities : ETL Development : Design and develop Ab Initio ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from source systems to target databases. Data Integration : Implement data integration solutions that adhere to business requirements and data quality standards. Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand integration needs. Ab Initio Components : Utilize various Ab Initio components and features for data profiling, data cleansing, and transformation activities. Implement parallel processing for optimal performance. Quality Assurance : Develop and execute test plans to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Ab Initio ETL processes. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve issues. Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation for Ab Initio processes, including design documents, mappings, and workflows. Document data lineage and metadata information. Performance Tuning : Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Ab Initio processes. Optimize code and configurations for improved efficiency. Collaboration : Work closely with data engineers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and data flow. Participate in cross - functional team meetings and discussions. Adherence to Best Practices : Follow industry best practices for ETL development and data integration.
