Job Title: Ab Initio Developer Location: India (On-Site) Role Responsibilities Design and develop ETL processes using Ab Initio. Create and manage data workflows to ensure data accuracy and quality. Collaborate with data architects and analysts to gather requirements. Optimize existing ETL processes for performance improvements. Perform debugging and troubleshooting of ETL jobs and workflows. Implement data cleansing and transformation processes. Monitor and maintain ETL systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Generate documentation for all ETL processes and workflows. Assist in data migration projects and data integration efforts. Work closely with business stakeholders to identify data needs. Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed. Update and maintain metadata repositories as required. Provide training and support to junior developers and team members. Develop and execute unit test cases to validate ETL processes. Stay updated with the latest Ab Initio features and enhancements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 3+ years of experience in Ab Initio development. Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and querying. Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems. Familiarity with data modeling concepts and practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with performance tuning of ETL jobs. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Keen attention to detail. Experience with version control tools such as Git. Knowledge of data governance and security practices. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
