The EUC (End User Computing) Engineer is a pivotal member of the TFP technology team, responsible for delivering high-quality IT support to over 500 users across the UK, Ireland, India, Abu Dhabi, and Bermuda. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining end-user computing environments (Microsoft 365, Intune, Conditional Access, PurView), as well as contributing to the successful delivery of strategic IT projects. The ideal candidate will exhibit a proactive and collaborative approach, ensuring exceptional service and delivery standards. You will work within a Microsoft-centric technology stack, driving innovation, efficiency, and reliability in end-user computing services. Main Responsibilities Operational Support (BAU): Deliver 3rd line support for end-user compute systems and services. Manage and enhance the MDM solution (Microsoft Intune) and maintain endpoint compliance. Maintain and update the WDS server and associated build processes. Support the automation of service desk processes. Documentation & Reporting: Ensure effective documentation of tools, processes, and reports. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve IT systems for both users and engineers. Maintain a focus on long-term technology effectiveness, simplicity of solutions, and robust controls. Provide regular updates to the Head of Infrastructure on project progress, incident management, and change management. Collaboration & Strategy: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to best practices. Develop an understanding of the organisation’s industry, products, and services. Contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining high engineering standards. Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Essential Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience as an infrastructure/cloud engineer within a Microsoft environment. Proven experience in desktop/IT/infrastructure support, ideally in financial services or insurance. ITIL certification is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent customer-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels. Motivation and leadership skills to foster team excellence in a collaborative culture. Exceptional organisation and time-management capabilities. Technical Proficiencies: Expertise in: Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365 . On-premises services: Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, SCCM/WDS. Cloud services: Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure EntraID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, PurView, and Microsoft Cloud Security & Compliance (HIPAA). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell. Familiarity with Apple Business Manager .
