Sales Force Developer (Sr Role) - is a specialized software developer who focuses on building and customizing applications on the Salesforce platform. Responsibilities Customize Salesforce applications to suit business needs, including custom objects, workflows, reports, and dashboards Development: Write code using Salesforce's proprietary languages such as Apex (back-end logic) and Visualforce (UI layer), and newer tools like Lightning Web Components. Integration: Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications or services through APIs (SOAP, REST). Data Management: Handle data migrations, data modeling, and building data pipelines. Automation: Develop automation solutions using Salesforce’s declarative tools like Process Builder, Flow, and Apex triggers. Testing and Debugging: Ensure that the Salesforce applications are robust by testing, debugging, and optimizing code. Collaboration: Work closely with Salesforce administrators, business analysts, and other team members to implement solutions Platform Knowledge Salesforce Customization: Basic knowledge of standard objects, custom objects, page layouts, fields, and validation rules. Declarative Development: Hands-on experience with point-and-click tools to configure automation without code. Salesforce AppExchange: Familiarity with installing and using apps from Salesforce’s AppExchange marketplace. Soft Skills Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements. Team Collaboration: Experience working in teams using Agile or Scrum methodologies. Technical Skills Apex: Salesforce's proprietary programming language, similar to Java.
