Job Title: Python Automation Test Engineer Job Type: Full-Time (100% Remote) Work Hours: Must be available to overlap with US time zones; availability required for client calls until 10 PM IST Must Have: Pytest, PyUnit, Selenium, Appium, Git, CI/CD tools, Boto3, Pandas, Cloud, SQL, Data Analysis, AWS Cloud, Cloud Testing Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Python Automation Test Engineer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Python to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. This role involves working closely with development and QA teams in an Agile environment to build robust and scalable test automation frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python. Validate software functionality, performance, and security across applications. Collaborate with development teams to understand product architecture and features. Leverage test frameworks such as Pytest , PyUnit , or Behave . Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines. Utilize tools like Selenium , Appium , and other automation frameworks. Use version control systems like Git for managing test scripts. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Troubleshoot, debug, and report issues found during testing. Ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintain detailed test documentation. Develop and execute tests for cloud-native applications deployed in AWS. Utilize Boto3 for automation of AWS services and API interactions. Write and execute SQL queries for backend data validation. Perform data analysis using Pandas for validating data integrity and transformation. Conduct cloud testing to ensure application reliability and performance in cloud environments. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Python programming . Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, PyUnit, Behave). Familiarity with UI automation tools like Selenium and Appium. Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines . Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices . Experience with version control tools like Git . Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills . Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote team setup. Proficiency in using Boto3 for AWS service automation. Working knowledge of Pandas for test data manipulation and analysis. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS. Experience in writing SQL queries for data validation and backend testing. Knowledge of cloud testing tools and practices.
