Key Responsibilities

A. Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and business development strategies to achieve zonal and national growth objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and strategy teams across multiple regions to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and adapt strategies proactively.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales performance and strategy reports to senior management.
  • Foster a high-performance, target-driven culture emphasizing accountability, learning, and collaboration.

B. Business Development

  • Generate high-quality leads through business development activities, including field visits, industry networking, and partnerships.
  • Engage with industry associations, government departments, and relevant bodies to generate awareness and business opportunities.
  • Build strategic relationships with banks, industrial development corporations, and regional industrial offices to identify potential clients.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and exhibitions to promote brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer pain points and offer tailored renewable energy solutions.

C. Sales Execution

  • Identify, engage, and convert prospective clients across India for solar EPC and project development opportunities.
  • Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical-commercial discussions to collect project details and requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare detailed proposals and close deals efficiently.
  • Ensure consistent achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain strong client relationships post-sale for repeat and referral business.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in

    Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics)

  • Minimum

    7 years of experience

    in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Strategy — preferably in

    Solar

    , alternatively in

    Banking or Industrial sectors

    .
  • Proven ability to drive large-scale business initiatives and manage sales pipelines effectively.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales and lead generation targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
