We are now building a dedicated YouTube team and hiring a YouTube Channel Manager to run our entire content engine.

⭐ Role Overview

This is a core leadership role where you will manage the full YouTube content pipeline end-to-end, including:

YouTube growth strategy

Content planning & calendar

Working with teachers, interns, and editors

Thumbnail coordination

SEO, metadata, analytics

Ensuring all content follows our Prof Sam workflow (topic → script → review → voice → video → SEO → publish)

You do NOT need to be a GenAI expert — but you must be excellent at YouTube strategy, execution, and content management.

This is a full-time, on-site role at our Perungudi office.

⭐ Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ YouTube Strategy & Growth

Create and execute YouTube growth plans

Research trending topics in engineering, CBSE, entrance exams, student/parent concerns

Analyse competitor formats (e.g., guidance channels, education channels)

Plan weekly upload calendar for long-form videos & Shorts

Improve CTR, impressions, retention, watch time, and traffic sources

2️⃣ Manage Full Video Production Workflow

You will manage the complete Prof Sam workflow:

Topic research

Script generation and review

Voiceover process (AI or human)

Stock footage / B-roll selection

AI-assisted video creation (VEED, HeyGen, etc.)

Thumbnail creation

SEO optimisation

Publishing & scheduling

You ensure smooth movement from Idea → Script → Video → Thumbnail → Upload.

3️⃣ YouTube SEO & Publishing

Write strong, high-retention titles

Optimise descriptions using SEO keywords

Add relevant tags

Use tools like YouTube Analytics, Google Trends, vidIQ/TubeBuddy

Optimise timing, frequency, and CTA placement

4️⃣ Thumbnail Management

Coordinate with designers or interns

Approve layouts, hooks, faces, colours, clarity

Ensure brand consistency

Use data to improve thumbnail style

5️⃣ Collaborate With Teachers & Interns

Work with subject experts (Maths/Physics/Chemistry)

Manage interns who create videos based on scripts

Review and approve daily outputs

Maintain SOPs, version control, quality standards

Ensure deadlines and content timelines are followed

6️⃣ Analytics & Reporting

Track channel performance daily/weekly

Identify patterns across views, retention, and CTR

Recommend new formats and improvements

Analyse competitors to refine strategy

7️⃣ Optional: Community Engagement

Monitor YouTube comments

Identify recurring questions to convert into new videos

Build a healthy, trust-based parent/student community
