Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on, creative, and analytical YouTube professional who can plan, produce, and manage the end-to-end YouTube presence of Prof Sam. This role combines strategic thinking, storytelling, and content execution. You'll work directly with the Founder (who is the on-camera face of the brand) to transform his ideas, insights, and philosophy into compelling, high-trust video content for Indian and NRI parents.

Key Responsibilities

1. YouTube Strategy & Channel Growth

- Develop and execute a YouTube content strategy that aligns with the brand's mission and audience.

- Research trending topics in parenting, education, careers, and family well-being.

- Create a publishing calendar, optimize metadata, and analyze performance metrics.

- Manage playlists, thumbnails, keywords, and video descriptions for maximum discoverability.

2. Content Ideation & Scripting

- Collaborate with the Founder to brainstorm and structure topics into compelling scripts or outlines.

- Write engaging video titles, hooks, and calls to action.

- Design repeatable formats (talks, Q&As, parent stories, shorts) to drive engagement and retention.

3. Production & Coordination

- Manage the video production process: camera setup, lighting, framing, and shoot logistics.

- Coordinate with freelance editors, designers, and studio resources when required.

- Maintain a digital library of footage, B-roll, and branded visual elements.

4. Editing & Post-Production Oversight

- Oversee video editing for tone, pacing, and emotional resonance consistent with the Prof Sam brand.

- Ensure videos are visually appealing, captioned, and optimized for both long-form and short-form use.

- Deliver content that feels professional yet warm and authentic.

5. Analytics & Channel Optimization

- Track watch time, click-through rates, and audience retention.

- Generate insights and continuously refine content strategy based on performance data.

- Build growth strategies for subscribers and community engagement.

Who You Are

- 36 years of experience managing or producing YouTube content (personal brand, education, wellness, or storytelling preferred).

- Proven understanding of YouTube SEO, analytics, and content trends.

- Strong creative writing and visual storytelling skills.

- Comfortable managing the entire content lifecycle from idea to publish.

- Knowledge of production tools (camera, lighting, audio) and editing software.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Emotionally intelligent, organized, and self-motivated.

Preferred Background

- Previous experience with founder-led or personality-driven channels.

- Exposure to education, personal development, or family-centric content.

- B.A. / B.Sc. in Media, Communication, Journalism, or related field.
