Job Summary
Company is seeking a talented XRPL Developer to design and implement blockchain-based solutions on the XRP Ledger to authenticate digital content, such as YouTube videos, and enhance our digital marketing offerings. You will develop tools to generate and store cryptographic hashes on XRPL, ensuring video and advertising authenticity for clients in industries like advertising, media, and e-commerce. The ideal candidate is proficient in XRPL development, has experience with cryptographic hashing, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Blockchain Solutions: Develop and deploy applications on the XRP Ledger to support content authentication, digital asset tokenization, and secure transactions for marketing campaigns.
- Video Authentication: Create tools to generate cryptographic hashes (e.g., SHA-256) of YouTube videos and other Advertising platforms, store them on XRPL using transaction memos or Hooks for verifiable authenticity.
- API Integration: Integrate XRPL APIs (e.g., QuickNode, xrpl.js, xrpl-py) into internal systems to enable seamless ledger interactions for video verification and client dashboards.
- Verification Interfaces: Develop user-friendly web or mobile interfaces for clients to verify video authenticity by comparing XRPL-stored hashes with downloaded video files.
- Smart Contract Development: Implement XRPL Hooks (WebAssembly-based smart contracts) to automate authentication workflows and metadata storage.
- Testing and Optimization: Test solutions on XRPL Testnet/Devnet to ensure scalability, low transaction costs, and reliability before mainnet deployment.
- Client Collaboration: Work with marketing teams and clients to understand content needs and integrate blockchain solutions into video campaigns.
- Documentation and Training: Create technical documentation and guides for internal teams and clients on using XRPL-based authentication tools.
- Stay Current: Monitor XRPL updates, community proposals (e.g., XLS-20d for NFTs), and blockchain trends to enhance our solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 1 year focused on blockchain technologies.
- Hands-on experience with XRP Ledger, including transactions, memos, and API integrations.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (xrpl.js), Python (xrpl-py), or C (for Hooks development).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cryptographic hashing (e.g., SHA-256) and its application in content authentication.
- Familiarity with XRPL tools (e.g., XUMM, XRPSCAN, QuickNode) and explorers (e.g., xrpscan.com, bithomp.com).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, WebSocket, or JSON-RPC for blockchain interactions.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating XRPL with digital marketing platforms or YouTube APIs for video authentication workflows.
- Knowledge of XRPL-specific features like NFTs, Federated Sidechains, or Interledger Protocol.
- Familiarity with decentralized video platforms (e.g., DTube, LBRY) and their integration with XRPL.
- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects or XRPL community initiatives (e.g., XRPL Grants).
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for blockchain applications.
