🚀 Hiring: Workshop Automation Developer (5+ Years) | Remote | Contract

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Automation Developer (5+ years) to work on end-to-end automation for manufacturing/workshop environments.

📍 Location: Remote  

📄 Engagement: Contract (Long-Term)  

🧑‍💻 Experience: 5+ Years

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain workshop/production automation solutions.

- Integrate machines, PLCs, sensors, and other shop-floor equipment with central applications (MES/ERP/Workshop Management Systems).

- Develop APIs, services, and automation workflows for data capture, job tracking, and process control.

- Troubleshoot and optimize performance, reliability, and data accuracy in live workshop environments.

- Collaborate with functional teams (operations, maintenance, production) to convert manual processes into automated, digital workflows.

🛠️ Required Skills:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in workshop/industrial automation software development.

- Strong programming skills in one or more: Python / .NET / Java / Node.js/SAP

- Experience integrating with PLCs/SCADA/MES or workshop management systems.

- Good understanding of manufacturing/workshop processes, job cards, work orders, and machine data.

- Experience with database design and development (SQL/NoSQL).

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently in a remote setup and deliver within timelines.

✅ Good to Have:

- Experience with OPC UA/MQTT/industrial protocols.

- Experience with dashboards/visualization tools for production/maintenance data.

- Prior work on automotive/engineering job-shop or manufacturing workshops.
