About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of custom ABAP solutions across modules (SD, MM, FI, PP, etc.).
• Build and optimize complex reports, ALVs, Adobe/SmartForms, module pool programs, workflows, and enhancements.
• Architect solutions using advanced ABAP including

  CDS Views, AMDP, BOPF, and OData Services

  .
• Manage integration via IDocs, Proxies, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
• Perform in-depth code reviews, performance tuning, and complex debugging.
• Guide junior developers and conduct peer reviews and code optimization sessions.
• Collaborate with solution architects and functional consultants to ensure seamless end-to-end implementation.
• Provide technical leadership in

  SAP S/4HANA transformation

  and system upgrades.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to SAP best practices and governance.
  

Required Skills:

• 15+ years of core SAP ABAP development experience.
• Deep expertise in classic and modern ABAP.
• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming and enhancement techniques.
• Hands-on experience in

  at least 3–4 full-cycle SAP implementations

  and complex support landscapes.
• Strong functional integration knowledge with SD, MM, FI, and other modules.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Solution Manager).
  

Good to Have:

• SAP S/4HANA certification or real-world S/4HANA migration experience.
• Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development and RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
• Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for SAP.
  

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• SAP Certification (ABAP, S/4HANA) preferred.
