About the role:


A Level 2 Modern Workplace Engineer responsible for Microsoft 365 administration, local/remote IT support, Device management and Dibber Applications support. This role ensures reliable IT operations, efficient user support, and effective handling of escalated technical issues.


Key Responsibilities:


Local IT & Remote Support (40%)

• Provide L2 assistance for laptops, desktops, printers, and network issues.

• Troubleshoot Windows OS, VPN, Wi-Fi/LAN, and Risk alerts.

• Resolve escalated tickets and coordinate with vendors for hardware support.

• Assist with onboarding/offboarding, Intune device setup, and asset management.


Application Support (30%)


·        Provide L2 troubleshooting for business applications and system integrations (Dibber App, Monitoring Tools, ITSM reporting)

·        Day to day task to check number of app related tickets and assist educators and parents accordingly within SLA.

·        Collecting necessary details with UM on New unit opening and helping them out to get all the details into Dibber back-office portal.

·        Connecting with Educators directly on Teams and helping them out immediately.

·        Assigning feedback ticket/ Bug related ticket to Developers.

·        Escalate defects to vendors while ensuring timely follow-up.

·        Monitor performance, application logs, and user access issues.

·        Maintain documentation including SOPs, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.


Microsoft 365 Administration (30%)


•        Manage user accounts, licenses, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, and Azure AD configurations.

•        Checking Infosec mailbox for phishing related queries and address them.

•        Monitoring Security Incidents and alerts in Microsoft defender.

•        Helping end users to reset password immediately as soon as alert is detected and blocking all Malicious URL’s and IPs.

•        Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint issues.

•        Handle M365 security configurations such as MFA, Conditional Access, and compliance alerts.

 

Required Skills


• 5-8 years of experience in L2 support roles.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.

• Hands-on experience with Windows OS, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.

• Understanding of business applications (Dibber App/SAP/CRM).

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Skills


• Certifications: MS-900, AZ-900, MS-102, MD-102.

• PowerShell scripting experience, Intune Device Enrollment with AutoPilot

• Familiarity with ITIL practices.

 

Work Mode


• Primarily hybrid (3 days) in Bangalore office from Monday to Friday.
