About the role: As a Dibber Kindergarten Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in making our kindergarten a fantastic place for children, caregivers and staff. As an integral part of the Dibber team, you will be responsible for both the daily educational experience of children and the broader leadership and operational responsibilities within the kindergarten. Your role blends hands-on teaching, pedagogical implementation, and team collaboration to ensure a high-quality, nurturing learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Learning: - Plan, design, and implement full-day program activities tailored to the developmental needs of specific age groups. - Adapt learning experiences to suit both individual children's needs and group dynamics. - Ensure classroom readiness in alignment with weekly planners and lesson plans. - Deliver engaging learning experiences through a variety of techniques such as storytelling, games, and multimedia tools. - Observe and guide children’s interactions, promoting cooperation, empathy, and positive social behaviour. - Maintain up-to-date documentation, including progress tracking and learning assessments for each child. - Oversee the daily serving of meals in accordance with the Dibber meal schedule. - Maintain and enforce high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in all classroom and play areas. - Collaborate with team members to continuously improve the learning environment and curriculum delivery. - Coordinate effectively with support staff to implement daily routines and ensure smooth program execution. Key Responsibilities: – Leadership & Operational Excellence. - Embrace and embody Dibber’s values, goals, and pedagogical strategies with enthusiasm and integrity. - Take responsibility for implementing Dibber’s pedagogical framework, ensuring alignment with our educational philosophy. - Manage daily operations in compliance with Dibber policies and legal requirements, ensuring children’s well-being and smooth kindergarten functioning. - Act as a mentor and motivator for team members, conducting regular development discussions, performance reviews, and goal tracking. - Address and resolve conflicts and complaints in a timely, effective, and empathetic manner. - Contribute to the strategic growth and planning of Dibber, ensuring the kindergarten environment is welcoming, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals. - Engage in ongoing professional development to keep your skills and pedagogical knowledge current.
