Job Title: Workday QA Analyst

About the Role

Workday QA Analyst


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain

    functional, regression, and security test cases

    for Workday HCM and Financials modules.
  • Develop and run

    manual and automated test scripts

    to validate business processes and integrations.
  • Perform

    security testing

    , including role-based access, domain permissions, and segregation of duties (SOD) checks.
  • Collaborate with developers, functional SMEs, and stakeholders to identify defects and ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in

    Agile ceremonies

    (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to release readiness.
  • Document test plans, results, and maintain traceability for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality and testing processes.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of QA experience, with at least 3+ years in Workday HCM and/or Financials testing.
  • Strong understanding of Workday business processes, security configuration, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with functional and regression testing in SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools (Workday Test Automation or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors).
  • Knowledge of Workday reporting (BIRT, Calculated Fields).
  • Workday certifications in HCM, Financials, or Integration.
