Job Description

Workday Functional Consultant (Absence Management)

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and maintain
Workday Absence Management
and
Compensation
modules in alignment with business requirements.
Work closely with HR stakeholders to analyze and document functional requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
Prepare
functional design documents
, configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
Perform
data conversions
and support data validation during implementation or migration activities.
Ensure seamless integration of Absence and Compensation modules with other HR functions (Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, etc.).
Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot functional issues.
Collaborate with technical teams to manage interfaces and integrations with external systems.
Participate in
end-to-end project lifecycle
, from requirement gathering to go-live and support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

38 years of
Workday Functional
experience, specifically in
Absence Management
(mandatory).
Hands-on experience in
Workday configuration
and business process setup.
Exposure to
Workday Compensation
module preferred.
Strong understanding of
HR processes and fundamentals
(leave, benefits, payroll integration, etc.).
Experience in
data migration and validation
activities.
Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills.
Workday certification(s) in Absence or Compensation is an added advantage.

Preferred Background:

Experience in
at least two Workday implementation or support projects

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
