We are looking for a high-potential Compensation & Benefits Lead to strategically design, manage, and optimize the total rewards portfolio. This role is pivotal in ensuring highly competitive pay structures, rigorous statutory compliance, and strategic alignment of reward programs with talent acquisition and retention goals. The lead will drive market analysis and system configuration for global compensation processes.

This role requires working in night shifts with rotational weekly offs and is based out of our Chennai office (work from office).

Key Responsibilities & Tool Command:

  • Total Rewards Strategy:

    Conduct comprehensive global compensation benchmarking and internal equity reviews, utilizing specialized market data platforms such as Mercer to inform pay band structures and salary increase budgets.
  • System Configuration & Administration:

    Administer compensation structures, benefits enrollment, and incentive plans directly within the core HRIS/C&B platforms, including mandatory experience with ADP and HiBob for benefits and total rewards statements.
  • Advanced Data Modeling:

    Design and model compensation structures and incentive plans (variable pay, bonuses) to ensure market competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
  • Compliance & Audit:

    Ensure absolute compliance with all local compensation regulations and statutory benefits requirements, providing necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
  • C&B Analytics:

    Prepare deep-dive compensation analytics and executive reports to support leadership decision-making on pay equity, budget allocation, and reward strategy effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in Global Compensation & Benefits or Total Rewards, with direct responsibility for system administration and market data analysis.
  • Mandatory experience leveraging professional C&B tools, specifically Mercer data and system administration within a major HRIS like HiBob or ADP.
  • Masters degree in HR, Business Administration, or Finance preferred.

    Advanced ability to perform statistical analysis, compensation modeling, and interpret complex market data (e.g., Mercer data) to drive strategic decisions.
  • Compliance with Strategic Design:

    Expertise in balancing mandatory statutory compliance with the strategic goal of designing competitive, performance-driven reward systems.
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management:

    Ability to communicate complex C&B programs clearly and confidently to employees, management, and executive stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail & Accuracy:

    Meticulous precision in managing highly sensitive and high-stakes compensation and benefits data within the HRIS.
  • Financial Modeling:

    Proficiency in budget forecasting and modeling the financial impact of various compensation and benefit scenarios.
