• Pulling live data from eCommerce and accounting platforms

🎯 What You’ll Be Working On

We already have the ecosystem set up. Now you’ll help take it further by:

🔧 Core Responsibilities

• Setup & configure:
• Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
• BigQuery
• WooCommerce Subscriptions
• Metabase dashboards
• WordPress plugins (FluentCRM, Automator, etc.)
• Backend development (WordPress + PHP):
• Build API modules to connect with:

• Xero

  ,

  QuickBooks

  ,

  Zoho Books

• Amazon

  ,

  Shopify

  ,

  eBay

• Tax portals

  (e.g. HMRC, OSS, US state systems)
• Parse and normalize incoming CSV/API data
• Push results into BigQuery and trigger workflows
• Frontend/dashboard development:
• Implement dashboards using UI/UX designs
• Help improve the portal UX (SureDash or custom)
• Add client-specific views (based on account ID, role)
• AI tools:
• Integrate Gemini / OpenAI for internal automations
• Set up prompts, auto-responses, and compliance insights
• Help improve AI-driven compliance alert system

🛠️ Skills Required

✅ Core Stack:

• PHP (Intermediate to Advanced)
• WordPress (Custom theme/plugin development)
• JavaScript (basic understanding)
• HTML/CSS
• WooCommerce + Woo Subscriptions
• REST API integration (OAuth, JSON)
• Google Cloud: GCS + BigQuery
• SQL (basic querying for BigQuery)

💡 Bonus (Nice to Have):

• Metabase (dashboards, filters, chart setup)
• Git/version control
• Familiarity with eCommerce APIs (Amazon SP-API, Shopify)
• Familiarity with accounting APIs (Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books)
• AI API integrations (Gemini, GPT, Claude, etc.)

📅 Roadmap (First 6 Months)

Month 1–2

☑ Set up data pipeline: Amazon/Shopify/Xero → GCS → BigQuery

☑ Create internal dashboards in Metabase

☑ Build API integration skeletons

Month 3–4

☑ Build compliance check features (AI-assisted)

☑ Create alerts for tax thresholds (EU, US, etc.)

☑ Help set up custom UI dashboard elements

Month 5–6

☑ Build first tax office submission prototype (UK, OSS, USA)

☑ Expand dashboard widgets + AI tools

• All work is done in

• Daily updates required via Google Sheet or a project management tool (brief changelog)
• No live site changes without sign-off
• Client financials, billing, and sensitive data remain restricted
