Principal Responsibilities: 💼 Design and implement PHY and MAC layer algorithms for satellite communication. 💼 Develop baseband modems on Software-Defined Radio (SDR) platforms. 💼 Evaluate algorithm performance through simulation and hardware testing . 💼 Create test software and drivers for unit, integration, and system testing . 💼 Perform link budget analysis for LTE/5G satellite-to-user equipment (UE) connections. 💼 Optimize resource scheduling and signal processing for enhanced satellite network performance. Requirements: 💪 Master’s (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field . 💪 Strong knowledge of LTE/5G PHY, MAC, and RRC per 3GPP standards . 💪 Expertise in communication theory, signal processing , and DSP algorithms (e.g., filter design, channel estimation, MIMO). 💪 Hands-on experience with Software-Defined Radios (SDRs) and RF lab testing . 💪 Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++ for modeling and simulation. 💪 Familiarity with signal generators, spectrum analyzers , and RF testing tools. 💪 Experience with FPGA/HDL development (SystemVerilog/VHDL) is a plus.
