About the Role

Throne Solutions is seeking a skilled Wireless Engineer to support and optimize enterprise wireless infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, designing, and maintaining secure and scalable wireless networks.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, configure, and optimize wireless networks (Wi-Fi & related technologies)
Conduct wireless site surveys, heat mapping, and coverage validation
Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and performance issues
Implement wireless security protocols, authentication, and access control
Perform regular access point upgrades, monitoring, and configuration
Integrate wireless systems with switches, controllers, and NMS platforms
Document network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
Collaborate with network engineers and IT support teams for operations continuity.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
Knowledge of WLAN controllers, APs, and network monitoring tools
Experience with wireless technologies such as Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, Ruckus, etc.
Familiarity with TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, and firewall basics
Experience with wireless survey tools (Ekahau, AirMagnet, NetSpot, etc.)
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience

Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)

CWNA / CWNP
Cisco Wireless (CCNA Wireless or CCNP Enterprise)
Aruba Certified Mobility Professional
Any relevant wireless technologies certification

Behavioral & Soft Skills

Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
