Wireless Engineer

As an Aruba Wireless Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the tower. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working with wireless controller/access points - Conducting wireless surveys and RF interference assessments - Troubleshooting and resolving network issues - Collaborating with cross-functional teams - Possessing industry certifications such as CCNP Wireless or CWNP To excel in this role, you must have proficiency in network protocols and standards like TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VRRP, SNMP, STP/RSTP, VLANS, and routing protocols (ISIS/OSPF/BGP). Excellent communication skills are essential for effective performance. In terms of Team Management, your duties will involve: - Resourcing and forecasting talent requirements - Hiring adequate resources - Training direct reports for recruitment decisions - Ensuring compliance to onboarding and training standards - Building an internal talent pool - Promoting diversity in leadership positions - Setting goals and conducting performance reviews - Giving constructive feedback - Leading engagement initiatives - Tracking team satisfaction scores - Identifying engagement initiatives - Challenging the team with enriching projects For Performance Management, you will be responsible for: - Measuring SLA adherence - Knowledge management - CSAT/customer experience - Risk issue identification and mitigation plans - Timely delivery of new projects - Avoiding unauthorized changes - Handling formal escalations Mandatory skills for this role include proficiency in Cisco Routing and Switching with 5-8 years of experience.
