Position Overview: The Web Developer will be responsible for the ongoing development, maintenance, and improvement of Saraswati Global website. You will work independently and collaborate with various teams to keep our website fresh, ensure optimal performance, and provide a seamless user experience. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in maintaining and iterating on existing websites, improving functionality, and enhancing aesthetics. Key Responsibilities: Website Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain the company website, including adding new pages, content updates, and ensuring it stays aligned with branding and marketing strategies. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize website speed, performance, and load times to ensure an exceptional user experience. Bug Fixes: Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring the site runs smoothly at all times. Responsive Design: Ensure the website is fully responsive, with flawless functionality across various devices and browsers. User Experience: Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to implement new features, improve UI/UX, and ensure the site is user-friendly. SEO: Maintain and improve website SEO to ensure high visibility on search engines. Security & Compliance: Ensure the website adheres to security best practices, is updated with the latest security patches, and complies with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, ADA). Analytics & Reporting: Work with the team to implement and track website analytics to monitor traffic, behavior, and performance metrics for continuous improvement. Content Management: Assist with updating and managing content through a CMS, ensuring everything is up-to-date and accurate. Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement new ideas, features, or tools that enhance the website's functionality, design, or user experience. Requirements: Experience: Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a focus on website maintenance (X+ years). Core Skills: Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Familiarity with frameworks/libraries like React.js, Vue.js, or Angular. Experience with content management systems (CMS), especially with platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Shopify. Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. Strong understanding of SEO best practices and how they apply to web development. Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.) and performance monitoring tools. Experience with version control (preferably Git). Design: Understanding of UI/UX design principles and ability to implement designs effectively. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on details, accuracy, and delivering high-quality work.
