Develop, update, and maintain the university's official websites and microsites.
Ensure all websites are responsive, fast, and secure across all devices and browsers.
Perform regular audits and updates to ensure the website is error-free and content is current.

2. Web Design & User Experience

Work closely with UI/UX designers or independently design user-friendly and aesthetically appealing web pages.
Improve the user journey by optimizing layouts, navigation, and interactivity.

3. Backend Development

Develop and manage server-side applications, databases, and APIs.
Ensure smooth integration of backend services with the frontend and third-party systems (e.g., LMS, CRM, payment gateways).

4. Content Integration

Collaborate with the content and digital media team to upload banners, articles, announcements, videos, and other assets.
Ensure proper formatting, SEO optimization, and accessibility compliance.

5. SEO & Web Performance

Optimize websites for search engines (on-page SEO) and ensure high performance metrics (page speed, load time, mobile usability).
Implement tracking tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, etc.

6. Security & Data Protection

Implement and monitor security protocols (SSL, firewalls, form validation, user authentication).
Regularly perform backups, vulnerability scans, and ensure compliance with data privacy norms.

7. Support & Troubleshooting

Provide technical support for website-related issues raised by staff or users.
Troubleshoot bugs, broken links, and downtime issues in a timely manner.

8. Collaboration & Documentation

Work closely with digital marketing, admissions, academics, and other departments for updates and campaigns.
Maintain documentation of coding standards, backups, and version control (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.).
