Web / App Designer ( UI/UX )

The Web/App Designer (UI/UX) is responsible for creating user-centered designs that deliver intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. The role requires a strong understanding of design systems, user research, and interaction principles to translate business objectives and user needs into seamless interfaces. The designer will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to conceptualize, prototype, and implement designs that enhance usability, accessibility, and brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

1. User Interface (UI) Design

• Design visually compelling user interfaces for web and mobile applications aligned with brand guidelines and product goals.
• Create detailed layouts, icons, illustrations, and design systems ensuring visual consistency across all platforms.
• Develop responsive and adaptive designs that provide an optimal experience across devices and screen sizes.
• Ensure aesthetic quality and pixel-perfect implementation of designs during the development handoff.

2. User Experience (UX) Design

• Conduct user research, persona development, and journey mapping to understand user needs and behaviors.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize design solutions.
• Perform usability testing and analyze feedback to continuously improve product interfaces.
• Optimize workflows, navigation structures, and information architecture to enhance the user experience.

3. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with product managers to align design decisions with product strategy and goals.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate design translation and smooth implementation.
• Partner with marketing and content teams to maintain a cohesive visual identity across digital touchpoints.
• Present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.

4. Research & Innovation

• Stay updated with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies in UI/UX design.
• Benchmark competitive products and suggest innovative design improvements.
• Contribute to the creation and evolution of design systems, component libraries, and brand guidelines.
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG compliance) and inclusivity in all design deliverables.

5. Quality Assurance & Feedback Integration

• Conduct design reviews and ensure visual and functional quality standards before launch.
• Collect post-launch analytics and user feedback to iterate and refine existing designs.
• Maintain version control and documentation of all design assets for team collaboration.

Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certification or diploma in UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, or Product Design (preferred).

Experience

• 2–5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design for web and/or mobile applications.
• Proven track record of designing responsive websites and native or hybrid mobile apps.
• Experience collaborating in agile or cross-functional product teams.

Technical & Design Skills

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles (basic front-end familiarity preferred).
• Experience with usability testing, heuristic evaluation, and data-driven design improvements.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards, interaction design, and motion design principles.
