Warehouse Supervisor

1. Inventory & Stock Management Maintain accurate stock records (inward, outward, returns, damaged stock). Conduct daily cycle counts, weekly audits, and monthly stock reconciliation. Ensure minimum & maximum stock levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking. Manage SKU coding, labeling, and bin/location mapping. 2. Inward & Outward Operations Supervise unloading, checking, and GRN (Goods Receipt Note) for inward shipments. Verify supplier deliveries against purchase orders. Manage order picking, packing, and dispatch as per SLA (service-level agreements). Ensure timely handover to courier/logistics partners. 3. Order Fulfilment & Dispatch Monitor order flow from ERP/marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, website orders). Ensure correct product, size, and quantity are packed. Implement FIFO / FEFO (First In First Out / First Expiry First Out) system. Track daily dispatch reports and shipment accuracy. 4. Returns & Reverse Logistics Check returned items for resale, repair, or scrap. Update return stock in system properly. Maintain separate bins for damaged, QC pending, and saleable stock. 5. Team Management Assign tasks to warehouse staff (receiving, picking, packing, dispatch). Train staff on SOPs, safety, and handling. Monitor productivity (orders picked/packed per hour). Resolve day-to-day manpower issues. 6. Coordination Coordinate with purchase team for stock replenishment. Work with e-commerce ops team for order prioritization, offers, and sales events. Liaise with courier/logistics providers for pickup schedules & issue resolution. 7. Technology & Reporting Use Excel for real-time stock updates. Generate daily MIS reports – inward, outward, pending orders, and stock status. Highlight fast-moving, slow-moving, and dead stock. Flag low-stock SKUs in advance to avoid lost sales.
