Role Overview :

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to support day-to-day Sort Centre Operations across FMSC/LMSC formats. The ideal candidate brings strong manpower management skills, operational discipline, and a proven ability to maintain zero breaches in the operational matrix.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support end-to-end Sort Centre Operations (FMSC/LMSC), ensuring timely inbound, outbound, and sorting activities.
• Manage shift-wise manpower planning, attendance, deployment, and productivity tracking.
• Maintain zero breaches across the operational matrix by monitoring KPIs, ensuring SOP adherence, and escalating deviations in real time.
• Oversee on-ground execution, troubleshoot operational bottlenecks, and ensure SLA performance.
• Conduct daily checks, audits, and workflow reviews to uphold process compliance and safety standards.
• Track performance metrics and share daily/weekly operational reports.
• Coordinate with Transportation, Planning, and Vendor teams for smooth operational flow.
• Train and guide associates to maintain quality, accuracy, and efficiency on the floor.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput, accuracy, and cost efficiency.

Requirements :

• 2–5 years of experience in Sort Centre / Warehouse / Logistics Operations (FMSC/LMSC experience preferred).
• Support end-to-end Sort Centre Operations (FMSC/LMSC), ensuring timely inbound, outbound, and sorting activities.
• Strong manpower management capabilities with experience handling on-ground teams.
• Proven ability to maintain zero breaches in operational KPIs and compliance.
• Working knowledge of dashboards, reporting tools, and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based operational environment.
