Role Overview :

We are seeking a high-impact operations manager to lead end-to-end Sort Centre Operations across FMSC/LMSC environments. The role demands strong manpower management, a disciplined approach to process excellence, and an unwavering commitment to maintaining zero breaches across the operational matrix.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead day-to-day Sort Centre Operations (FMSC/LMSC), ensuring seamless throughput, accuracy, and adherence to SLAs.
• Drive manpower planning, deployment, productivity tracking, and workforce optimization across shifts.
• Ensure zero breaches in the operational matrix by enforcing strict compliance, monitoring KPIs, and implementing corrective actions proactively.
• Oversee inbound, outbound, and sorting workflows to maintain service quality and operational continuity.
• Strengthen process governance through audits, dashboards, SOP adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams including Transportation, Planning, Safety, and Compliance to deliver operational excellence.
• Manage vendor partners, labour contractors, and on-ground teams to achieve performance benchmarks.
• Mitigate operational risks by identifying gaps, resolving escalations, and ensuring real-time issue management.
• Implement best practices in safety, quality checks, and cost optimization.
• Ensure the site P&L remains healthy, efficient, and aligned with business targets.

Requirements :

• Proven experience in Sort Centre / Warehouse Operations (FMSC/LMSC preferred).
• Strong manpower management and people leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain zero breaches in operational KPIs and compliance standards.
• Data-driven approach with proficiency in dashboards, reporting, and performance analytics.
• Ability to lead high-pressure operations with agility, discipline, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
