Warehouse Head – Food Handling Location Bhiwanid

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Warehouse Head to oversee food storage, handling, and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food safety standards, and experience managing warehouse teams and inventory systems. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant movement of food products within the facility.

Key Responsibilities: •

Warehouse Operations:

Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of food items. o Ensure proper handling of perishable and non-perishable food products. o Maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO). o Monitor cold storage and temperature-controlled zones for compliance.

• Team Management:

Lead and supervise warehouse staff including pickers, loaders, and supervisors. o Conduct training on food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures. o Assign tasks and monitor performance to meet productivity targets.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure adherence to food safety regulations (e.g., FSSAI, HACCP). o Implement and monitor hygiene and sanitation protocols. o Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and audits.

• Systems & Reporting:

Manage warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP tools. o Generate reports on inventory, dispatches, and operational KPIs. o Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams for smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

• 6+ years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Experience in food handling and cold chain logistics is essential.

• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and warehouse best practices.

• Proficiency in WMS/ERP systems and MS Office.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment with exposure to cold storage areas. May require shift work and weekend availability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
