VP - Operations

Role Overview: As an Ops Sup Sr. Manager at our company, you will be responsible for managing a team or department to ensure the seamless delivery of operations support services in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes. Your main objective will be to accomplish results through effective team management and coordination with the Operations - Core team. Key Responsibilities: - Manage professional teams and departments by delegating tasks and responsibilities - Conduct performance evaluations, compensations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations of team members - Monitor the quality and efficiency of end results, manage all training and development needs of assigned personnel - Create and develop budgets, policy formation, and short-term resource planning - Manage occasionally complex and varied issues with significant departmental impact - Apply in-depth knowledge to coordinate and contribute to the goals of the entire function - Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations - Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards - Operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgment and autonomy - Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and other team members - Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations Qualifications: - 18-20 years of overall experience with 8-10 years of experience managing a team - Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and handle unexpected changes in expectations or requirements - Proven organization and time management skills - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience - Masters degree preferred Additional Company Details: If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity, please review Accessibility at Citi.
