Location: Gurugram

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Role Overview

The VP – Operations will be responsible for leading and scaling client’s entire backend operations across multiple functions including operations, technology, AI, and post-production. This leader will ensure timely, high-quality delivery to global clients, manage 24/7 operational workflows, and drive cross-functional alignment for growth. With direct oversight of ~200 professionals, this role requires a strategic operator with startup DNA, global exposure, and a scale-up mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Lead and manage 200+ team members across operations, technology, AI, and other functions.
    • Build and optimize systems and workflows that enable scale and efficiency.
  • Client Delivery & Quality:
    • Ensure 100% adherence to client commitments—on time, with world-class quality.
    • Define and maintain delivery benchmarks aligned with global expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Align technology, AI, and creative operations to deliver seamless client solutions.
    • Partner with product, tech, and client-facing teams for continuous improvement.
  • People & Culture:
    • Inspire, mentor, and grow high-performance teams across multiple functions.
    • Drive a culture of accountability, agility, and innovation.
  • Scaling & Growth:
    • Anticipate challenges of a scaling business and design solutions proactively.
    • Implement performance-driven KPIs and metrics to ensure efficiency.
  • International Client Engagement:
    • Manage and nurture relationships with global clients, understanding cultural and business nuances.
    • Drive delivery excellence and customer satisfaction across regions.
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to define operational strategy.
    • Act as a key driver in client’s journey from high-growth to global scale.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10–15 years of professional experience with at least 4–5 years in a high-growth start-up / scale-up environment.
  • Proven track record of leading large teams (150+ people) across multiple functions.
  • Strong operational and strategic leadership skills with the ability to balance scale and speed.
  • Hands-on experience with international clients and global delivery standards.
  • Experience in technology and/or AI-driven environments is a strong advantage.
  • High resilience and adaptability to manage 24/7 operations.
  • Energetic, ambitious leader with a builder’s mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving setups.
