VP Assurance - Laws, Rules & Regulations

**Role Overview:** As a Laws, Rules and Regulations (LRR) Transformation Vice President at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in managing the delivery of Project Arthur Assurance. Your responsibilities will include defining project plans for each stage of key milestones and RAG status. You will be tasked with enhancing the control testing pipeline, assurance reporting, issue and control monitoring capabilities. Additionally, you will oversee the assurance testing for the project by forming cross-dependency groups across functions to identify blockers and facilitate progress through different stages of the project. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define project plans for key milestones and RAG status - Enhance control testing pipeline, assurance reporting, issue and control monitoring capabilities - Oversee assurance testing for the project by forming cross-dependency groups - Identify blockers and facilitate progress through different project stages **Qualifications Required:** - Understanding of Project Management and Change Management, preferably with a relevant professional qualification such as Prince2 or Project Management Institution - Knowledge of process re-engineering methodologies such as LEAN, DMAIC, or Value Mapping - Experience in implementing Data Analytics, including performing full population analysis and hands-on experience with building scripts in SQL, Python, or other tools - Ability to consolidate and process information from multiple sources to create meaningful insights and reports for stakeholders - Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders in different business functions - Excellent project and change management, analytical, and organizational skills - Analytical approach with a proven ability to manage issues through to resolution **Additional Company Details:** This role will be based out of Noida. **Purpose of the Role:** The purpose of the role is to partner with the bank to provide independent assurance on control processes and advise on improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the bank's internal controls framework. **Accountabilities:** - Collaborate across the bank to maintain a robust control environment through ad-hoc assessments and testing - Develop detailed test plans to identify weaknesses in internal controls and mitigate potential risks - Communicate key findings and observations to stakeholders to improve overall control efficiency - Maintain a knowledge center containing documentation of control assessments and testing procedures This is a high-impact role where you will be expected to contribute to strategy, drive requirements, make recommendations for change, and manage resources effectively. You will also play a key role in advising stakeholders, managing risks, and demonstrating leadership in strengthening controls. Your ability to create solutions based on analytical thinking and build trusting relationships with stakeholders will be crucial for success in this role.,
