VP Assurance - Laws, Rules & Regulations

As a Vice President Laws, Rules & Regulations (LRR) Assurance within the Control Assurance Services team, your role will involve leading assurance reviews of internal controls to ensure alignment with policies, standards, and regulatory expectations. You will develop and execute test plans, identify control weaknesses, and collaborate with business units to enhance risk mitigation strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct independent assessments of the control environment - Advise on risk mitigation, process improvements, and resolution strategies - Develop and maintain a knowledge repository for training purposes - Assist in shaping strategy, policies, and resource planning for control testing activities - Advise senior stakeholders on functional and cross-functional risks Qualifications Required: - Proven expertise in control assurance, audit, or risk review within financial services - Strong understanding of control design and operating effectiveness testing - Familiarity with US and UK laws, rules, and regulations related to operational risks - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Hands-on experience in data analytics (SQL, Python) - Qualifications in audit, risk management, or process improvement - Knowledge of regulatory control environments across different geographies If you thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about risk and control governance, we encourage you to apply for this role and be part of our high-performance team.,
