Voice Services Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct meetings with business stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams to gather requirements and provide clear, validated information.
  • Collect both business and technical requirements and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
  • Maintain up-to-date network voice diagrams and produce comprehensive Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
  • Act as the first-line technical interface with voice services teams, legacy vendors, and service providers.
  • Maintain, update, and optimize voice infrastructure components in line with evolving business needs.
  • Produce detailed project documentation including scope, definitions, communication plans, and schedules for complex and multi-project environments.
  • Perform resource planning, risk identification, and mitigation planning for projects.
  • Initiate, plan, execute, and track voice projects from inception to closure.
  • Deliver comprehensive project reports including risk analysis, change management, and cost reports.
  • Create and implement migration, testing, and acceptance plans for telephony deployment projects.
  • Provide assistance in incident troubleshooting and crisis management scenarios.
  • Offer first-line operational and service management support for voice services.
  • Support change management processes by coordinating and implementing infrastructure changes.
  • Participate in RFI/RFP processes related to voice services.
  • Advocate for new solutions and contribute to the reduction of overall voice service costs.
  • Perform any additional responsibilities necessary to achieve job outcomes.



Required Skills & Experience:

  • Solid understanding of

    network protocols, telecommunication technologies, and global telecom infrastructure

    .
  • Hands-on experience with

    LAN, WAN, and Voice infrastructure design and engineering

    .
  • Expertise in

    landline telephony

    , including

    ToIP, VoIP

    , PSTN, SIP, SBC configuration, SIP trunking, and troubleshooting SIP traces.
  • Knowledge of landline carrier services, contract structures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with

    legacy telephony platforms

    (Atos, Cisco, Alcatel) and

    Contact Center integrations

    .
  • Experience deploying and maintaining

    softphones and cloud-based telephony solutions

    .
  • Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven stakeholder management abilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to operate autonomously.
  • Proficiency in

    English

    ; knowledge of

    Italian

    is a plus.



Qualifications:

  • B.E / B.Tech / Diploma

    in Electronics & Telecommunication or equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum

    10 years of experience in Network Engineering/Architecture

    with a focus on landline telephony services.
  • Professional certifications preferred:

    Cisco CCNA, CCNP

    , or equivalent.
