Job Description

You have 3+ years of relevant experience in the field of Vmware, Windows, and NSX Administration. Your responsibilities will include: - Installation and Configuration: - Deploy, install, configure, and upgrade VMware software and virtualization platforms based on client requirements. - Experience on VMware vRA, vROPS, and vRO - Experience in P2V, VMotion, and VMware Virtual Center - Experience in installing, configuring, troubleshooting ESXi - Upgrades of NSX-v environments - Management Experience: - Planning, deployment, configuration, and administration of NSX-T Infrastructure - Configure Firewall: - Configure Distributed Firewall and Gateway Firewall to protect east-west and north-south traffic - Troubleshooting: - Identify and resolve issues related to VMware infrastructure, including virtual machines, ESXi hosts, vCenter servers, and networking components - Handle critical incidents and perform root cause analysis - Handle User service request and Alert management - Deployment Experience: - Deployment of NSX-T DataCenter Infrastructure - Deployment of NSX Manager, NSX Edge nodes, NSX Edge Clusters on VMware ESXi environments - Performance Optimization: - Monitor and optimize the performance of VMware environments to ensure efficient resource utilization and high availability - Security: - Implement security best practices to protect virtualized environments from threats and vulnerabilities - Technical Support: - Provide technical support and guidance to clients, addressing their VMware-related concerns and inquiries - Microsoft Windows Server Administration: - Experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration DC, DNS, DHCP, DFS, WSUS, Group Policy Management, etc. - Additional Skills and Knowledge: - NSX-v operational familiarity and all concepts - Knowledge of basic network concepts e.g., IP, TCP, DNS, switches, routers, etc. - Concepts of load balancers and their function and features - Capacity Planning: Assess and plan for future capacity requirements, recommending hardware and software upgrades as needed - Knowledge of ITIL Process Preferred Skills: - Good understanding of NSX-T DataCenter Logical Switching, Routing, Bridging, Security, Services, Monitoring, and Federations - Good understanding of TCP/IP services and network security and working experience with firewalls - Working experience of enterprise switching and routing - Prior experience in the banking domain with exposure to compliance requirements for various standards like PCI - DSS Desired Certifications: - VMware VCP-NV certification Soft Skills: - Must be ready to learn new technologies and acquire new skills - Must be a Team Player - Should be good in Verbal and Written Communication,
