The essential skills required for this role include a minimum of 2 years of mandatory design experience of NSX-V or NSX-T, at least 4 years of experience in configuring and managing NSX Manager, NSX Controller, Distributed Router, T0/T1, LB, and other associated Edge devices, deployment experience of NSX-T in a Green-field data center environment, excellent understanding of the SDN ecosystem with hands-on experience in NSX (Cisco ACI experience preferred), hands-on experience in designing and implementing NSX-V and NSX-T, managing NSX firewall rulesets for East-West Traffic, creating Micro Segmentation, designing, implementing, configuring, and managing VMware NSX Firewall and VRealize environments, experience in vRealize Network Insight and VROPS, strong network troubleshooting skills on Cisco L3 Switches, strong troubleshooting skills on NSX-V, NSX-T, NSX VIBS, EDGE, DLR, DFW, VRF-Lite, NSX LB, perimeter firewall, Inter-DC & Intra-DC NSX environment, planning Security Policies, working with Micro-Segmentation with VRNI, investigating vRNI traffic logs for troubleshooting Applications issues, monitoring Log insight tool for live traffic troubleshooting, analyzing vRNI traffic flow to create NSX policies, and hands-on experience with upgrades in NSX -V version 6.X to higher or NSX-V to NSX-T.
