As a Senior IT Network Engineer at Valvoline Global, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day engineering, implementation, and escalated technical support for a wide range of network services. You will be recognized as a subject matter expert in multiple areas and will manage large projects while coaching and delegating work to lower-level professionals. Additionally, you will lead site surveys, evaluate technical aspects of project work, and make recommendations on technology deficiencies and improvements to enhance supply chain operations. Your educational background should include a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, CIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience. With a minimum of ten years of network experience, preferably within a large global organization, you should have a successful record of leading complex infrastructure and/or network projects. Your knowledge and skills should include advanced experience with global data and voice networks, communications, collaboration tools, and network configuration for server and client operating systems. You will be responsible for updating network equipment to the latest firmware & IOS releases. You should have hands-on experience in Enterprise Switching Core, Distribution & Access, Cisco WLAN Networking. It is essential to have a deep working knowledge of networking technologies including Layer-2, Layer-3 protocols such as STP, EIGRP, BGP, VXLAN/EVPN, ISIS. Experience in working in Agile Environment is desirable.
