We are currently looking for an IT Engineer to join our team at Netgleam Consulting Pvt Ltd in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This is a full-time position with working days from Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays. The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of experience in network administration, design, and maintenance. As an IT Engineer, your key responsibilities will include managing WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, switches, FortiGate Firewalls, Cisco Switches/Routers, Cisco WLAN, and Cisco IP Telephony. You will also be responsible for network monitoring, conducting network assessments, and preparing improvement plans. Additionally, you will assist in IT Infra Projects such as LAN cabling supervision, rack setup, and dressing. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of network performance tuning, LAN, WAN, and IT infrastructure. Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and multitasking abilities are essential for this role. Good communication skills in English and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field are required. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar networking certifications are preferred. Key Responsibilities: SCOM Configuration and Management: Configure and maintain SCOM monitoring for EUC devices , including workstations, laptops, and other endpoint devices. Design, configure, and implement monitoring solutions for critical EUC services and components. Implement SCOM management packs and ensure proper integration with EUC-related tools and applications. Manage SCOM dashboards and alerts to ensure timely detection of performance issues or failures within the EUC environment. End-User Computing (EUC) Tool Integration: Integrate SCOM with other EUC management tools for centralized monitoring and management, including SCCM , Intune , Workspace ONE , etc. Provide technical expertise for integrating EUC tools with SCOM to ensure seamless data flow and performance visibility across platforms. Monitor and report on end-user device health , software deployments, and compliance statuses. Monitoring and Incident Management: Proactively monitor the EUC environment using SCOM and related tools to identify, report, and resolve performance issues and incidents. Set up and manage alert thresholds , ensuring that system events are logged and escalated to the appropriate teams. Provide incident management support, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to SCOM alerts , device performance , and EUC tools . Automation and Reporting: Automate monitoring tasks and report generation to ensure accurate and timely visibility into the health and status of EUC infrastructure and devices. Create and deliver customized reports and dashboards based on business requirements, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and visibility into EUC operations. Develop and maintain automated workflows for issue resolution and device remediation using SCOM and other EUC tools. Capacity Planning and Optimization: Assist with the capacity planning for EUC infrastructure (hardware and software) to ensure optimal performance and resource allocation. Monitor device usage patterns and trends to predict potential issues and recommend improvements in the EUC setup. Perform regular health checks and tune the SCOM environment to ensure the optimal performance of monitoring processes. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with the EUC management team , networking , security , and application teams to ensure optimal configuration and performance of EUC systems. Provide technical support for end-user devices, ensuring that all systems are operating according to organizational standards. Ensure that patching , updates , and upgrades for SCOM and related EUC systems are implemented according to industry best practices and security guidelines. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation for SCOM configurations , monitoring setups, and troubleshooting procedures. Document and maintain best practices for managing and optimizing EUC devices using SCOM. Share knowledge and provide training for team members and other stakeholders related to SCOM and EUC management tools . Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies , industry standards, and regulatory requirements in the monitoring and management of EUC environments . Ensure that monitoring practices are in alignment with the company's data protection and privacy guidelines. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest developments in EUC monitoring tools , SCOM enhancements , and best practices in the industry. Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring processes , EUC environments , and related systems. Suggest and implement optimizations to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of SCOM and other EUC management solutions. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field. 2-4 years of hands-on experience working with SCOM (System Center Operations Manager) and EUC management tools . Strong knowledge of EUC devices and infrastructure , including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and virtual environments. Experience with SCOM management packs , alert management , and custom monitoring . Knowledge of Active Directory , Windows OS (Windows 10, Server), and networking concepts in the context of EUC environments . Familiarity with SCCM , Intune , and other endpoint management tools. Strong skills in PowerShell scripting and automation . Knowledge of cloud-based EUC solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365 , Citrix , Workspace ONE ) is a plus.

As a Global Monitoring Analyst at our Pune location, you will play a crucial role in managing processes and tools for IT infrastructure monitoring. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the overall availability, performance, and health of all IT components by effectively managing alerts. You will need to oversee critical IT infrastructure-related incidents and facilitate Major Incident Management (MIM) through a combination of people, processes, and technology. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring key performance metrics and availability of enterprise IT infrastructure. - Monitoring alerts across various infrastructure environments including VMware, storage, networks, databases, and operating systems (Windows, Linux). - Facilitating Major Incidents by initiating P1 bridge calls, engaging technical teams and stakeholders as required. - Providing timely, accurate, and effective communication on service impacting alerts, as well as conducting capacity analysis and reporting bottlenecks to IT Service Management (ITSM) and technical teams. - Generating reports such as IT Infrastructure Snapshot report, P1 trend analysis, Alert analysis, and Device Availability. - Managing alerts configuration, maintenance, upgrades, vulnerability management, administration, and coordinating with vendors for various monitoring tools. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Enterprise IT Infrastructure Monitoring, Alert Management, P1 Incident Management, Stakeholder communication, and Capacity Management. Additionally, experience in Monitoring and Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Availability, Capacity, Performance Management is required.
