Video Content Producer

🎯 Role Overview

We’re looking for a sharp, self-driven Video Content Producer who thrives at the intersection of research, storytelling, and production. You’ll shape the voice of Sipping Thoughts by scouting meaningful experts, building episodes from scratch, and delivering polished content across YouTube, Instagram, and podcast platforms.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

🔍 Content & Guest Research

• Research deep-dive themes that resonate with Indian women (30–60 age group)
• Identify experts, creators, and thought leaders aligned with selected topics
• Write compelling speaker briefs and invite them with professionalism and warmth
• Maintain a topic–guest master grid with live status updates

📝 Pre-Production

• Script cue cards, key questions, intro/outro lines for each episode
• Coordinate speaker scheduling, studio booking, and shoot logistics
• Prepare run-of-show documents and cue sheets for smooth recording

🎬 Production Oversight

• Lead shoot days end-to-end with director, host, and crew
• Ensure high-quality visuals, audio, and emotional tone
• Capture bonus content (quotes, BTS, short reels) on-set

✂️ Post-Production

• Supervise edits for YouTube, IG Reels, and podcast formats
• Work with editors on pacing, subtitle styling, music, and transitions
• Write captions, social hooks, and upload descriptions

🚀 Distribution & Analytics

• Coordinate with social media and digital team for launch
• Manage speaker toolkits and cross-posting
• Track performance metrics and make content improvement decisions

✅ Requirements

• 3+ years experience in video production, content research, or media storytelling
• Strong instincts for what makes a good guest and engaging conversation
• Familiarity with talk show formats, expert-led interviews, and audience resonance
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Comfort with Notion/Google Docs, Trello, YouTube Studio, podcast publishing tools
• Basic understanding of video/audio specs and file formats
