Job Description

As a seasoned professional in the field of business development and sales, you will be responsible for strategically planning and leading initiatives to drive business growth through the Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) channel. This entails developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, setting and monitoring sales targets, KPIs, and budgets for the IFA sales team, and identifying new business opportunities to expand the IFA network. Your ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management for scaling the business will be crucial for success. Relationship management is a key aspect of this role, as you will be expected to build and nurture strong relationships with IFAs to ensure high engagement and retention. Addressing concerns, providing solutions, and conducting regular meetings, training, and workshops to keep IFAs updated about products and services are essential components of maintaining satisfaction and fostering long-term collaboration. In the realm of sales and business development, you will drive B2B sales by onboarding and activating high-performing IFAs. Collaboration with product and marketing teams to design tailored value propositions for the IFA segment, analyzing market trends, competition, and client feedback to identify gaps and opportunities are critical tasks that will contribute to the overall success of the business. Team management and development will also be a significant part of your responsibilities. Leading, mentoring, and motivating the IFA sales team to achieve individual and team objectives, conducting regular performance reviews, providing feedback, and implementing improvement plans when necessary are vital for fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring team alignment with organizational goals. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelors/Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in B2B sales within the wealth management industry. A proven track record of managing and growing the IFA network, as well as a strong understanding of financial products including mutual funds, insurance, and portfolio management, will be advantageous in driving the business forward.,
