Vice President Legal

As a Legal Counsel supporting client documentation for products and businesses including Cash Management, Trade Finance, and Security Services, you will be responsible for drafting and negotiating agreements and other legal documentation related to transactions undertaken by the Bank. Your role will involve providing legal guidance and counsel to managers and teams within the business on a broad spectrum of legal topics. You will need to leverage both generalist legal knowledge and specialized expertise in functional and product-related activities to support areas such as contract law, documentation, mergers, acquisitions, corporate matters, insolvency, real estate, employment, intellectual property, litigation, policy, and regulatory issues. In this capacity, you will offer advice, make decisions on legal matters, create legal documents, and effectively communicate legal topics to the business. As a Legal Counsel, you will focus on a specific team within a division or location and will be responsible for advising on current and future requirements within your area of expertise. This role involves a blend of transactional work, necessitating close collaboration with the business, other Legal team members, and internal support functions. Your active participation will be essential in assisting the business in managing legal, regulatory, and reputational risks effectively.,
