Job Objective

Overseeand monitor the overall safety, security, nautical and commercial operation(including commercial effectiveness and voyage efficiency) of the assignedships.

Key Accountabilities

Support Companystrategic goals

Monitor updates and proposeimprovements in safety, security, commercial effectiveness, voyageefficiency and incident correctiveactions.

Drive and provide recommendationsin improving automation and smart operation services for the Chartering andPerformance Modules.

Review all necessary vesselinspection reports, quarterly financial reports, and documentation concerningvessel performance and operational issues and submit recommendations to Owners.

Contribute to better collaboration,enhancement of clientscommitment, and promotion of the Companyprofile.

Support Vessels and Post Fixture

Prepare freight accounts / hirestatements and ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts.

Be aware of the principles incommercial agreements, charter parties, and BSM onboard obligations.

Obtain and review charter parties. Advise owners on the worth highlighted clauses within thecharter party.

Brief fleet team and senior onboardofficers on the highlighted clauses within the charter party.

Review the pre-fixing requirementsand charter party clauses during negotiations.

Provide support to the Owners during employment and CharterParties negotiations of vessels

Follow up on the vessel positionand assist Masters to ensure compliance with the Charter Party requirements onCommercial and Operational matters.

Provide commercial and operationalsupport to the assigned vessels for the voyage and cargo requirements to be metand subsequently ensure compliance with charter party.

Monitor Vessel and Voyageperformance (incl. speed and fuel consumption) and Chartering PAL Modules thatall the relevant details of employment are accurate and are reflected in theLivefleet Platform.

Handle commercial claims, cargoclaims and Charter Party disputes.

Intervene timely when there is adisagreement between Charterers, Owners and Masters.

Liaise with Masters,Charterers/Brokers and Owners on Commercial/operational matters.

Bulk Specific

Monitor the accurate, timely, andqualitative execution of all cargo hold cleaning activities and preparation forloading in conformance with cargo and charter party requirements.

Participate in the development ofthe cargo holds cleaning plan for the assigned vessels and monitorits accurate execution.

Monitor the cargo hold conditioninspection activities of the assigned dry bulk vessels and advise TSIaccordingly.

Requirements
Education Qualifications:

Bachelordegree in Shipping orequivalent.

Being a member of the Institute ofChartered Shipbrokers or having a recognized Degree in the shipping field ispreferred (but not a must).

Work Experience

5 years experience within themaritime industry.

Minimum 3 years previous experience in a Post Fixture or Operations department.

Job-Specific Skills:

Knowledge of charter party agreements.

Knowledge of operational requirements and voyage regulations.

Ability to demonstrate excellent reasoning and analytical skills.

Good negotiation skills.

Excellent communication abilities.

Very good people management skills.

Strong organisational and project management skills.

Fluency in English.

PC literacy.
