UX Designer

Celcius is India’s first and only asset-light cold chain marketplace with a web and app-based SaaS platform that brings the entire cold chain network online. Whether it’s matching a consignor with a transporter, optimising reefer trucking infrastructure, or allocating cold storage resources across India, we aim to seamlessly connect transporters and manufacturers of perishable products. Our platform serves key sectors such as dairy, pharmaceuticals, fresh agro produce, and frozen products, enabling users to book reefer vehicle loads and cold storage space anywhere in India while providing complete network monitoring via desktop or mobile.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join our growing design team. You will play a pivotal role in creating user-centered design solutions across our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design aesthetic and have a proven track record of solving complex problems through user experience and interface design. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that our products meet both user needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the research and design process for user-centered products, including personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate design concepts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into functional, intuitive designs.
• Map user journeys and identify pain points to enhance product workflows.
• Design visually compelling interfaces that align with product vision and brand guidelines.
• Create responsive, accessible, and scalable design systems, including UI components, icons, typography, and other graphic elements.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and design consistency across all platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
• Provide mentorship to junior designers, guiding them in the principles of UX/UI design and helping them develop their skills.
• Advocate for user-centered design thinking across the company, sharing insights, ideas, and best practices with the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables, managing timelines and feedback loops.
• Regularly evaluate and integrate best practices in UX/UI to continuously improve the user experience.

Required skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across web and mobile platforms.
• Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, etc.
• Deep understanding of design systems, responsive design, accessibility, and mobile-first design principles.
• Strong understanding of user research methods, including usability testing, persona development, and A/B testing.
• Ability to analyze user behavior and feedback to improve UX.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design rationale.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
